Scholarship Essay Writing (Prep) Workshop minimizes the writing anxiety that many young writers encounter.
High school freshmen through graduate students learn how to close the gap between mastering writing skills and applying them to create meaningful works of art. We show students how to apply effective strategies so that their essays are more likely to be read and strongly considered in scholarship competitions.
We explain writing concepts and describe how Kailyn’s literary writings led her to winning over sixteen scholarships. Students will understand how to create a winning scholarship essay. With all other things being equal, most scholarships are won based on the essay!
This workshop will:
1. Review basic writing concepts
2. Explore writing strategies
3. Provide students with a variety of writing tools that will separate them from the pack, improve their essay preparations and increase their probabilities of becoming successful scholarship recipients.
