One-On-One Consultation Policy

(In-Person or Virtual)

Scholars Path is excited that you want to meet. As we prepare for our consultation, this is the perfect time to provide guidelines and share expectations to ensure an impactful and enlightening experience.

In order for our consultation to best serve you, all parties involved need to agree and abide by the following guidelines:

  1. The consultation is the scholar’s (or the advocate’s) opportunity to get clarity regarding any of the topics covered in any of Scholars Path’s workshops or webinars. The client(s) should come prepared with their questions and examples (if applicable).
  2. The questions and general guide of the consultation will match the “Goal Expectations” that were submitted on the scholar’s questionnaire.
  3. Scholars are encouraged to bring their laptops.
  4. The consultation will not be used to proofread essays.

Punctuality:

We respect our client’s time and appreciate the same courtesy. We realize that mishaps or unforeseen circumstances may disrupt one’s schedule and cause a small delay.

  1. There will be a 10 minute grace period allowed by both parties before the meeting is deemed as a No-Show.
  2. A No-Show by the client(s) results as a forfeiture of the scheduled service and No Refund.
  3. A No-Show by Scholars Path will result in a re-scheduling (and completion) of the consultation within 30 calendar days of the missed consultation. Client will also receive a 10% discount for the re-scheduling of this missed consultation upon completion. The client’s 2nd choice is a full refund within 7 business days after the No-Show. Client(s) will select their option immediately (within 2 calendar days) to ensure a timely response.

Cancellations:

  1. Cancellation by the client(s) (after a booking has been confirmed) within 4 days of the scheduled consultation carries a $50 cancellation fee. The balance of the fee will be returned within 7 business days through the same payment channels originally received.
  2. Cancellation by Scholars Path (after booking has been confirmed) will result in a full refund to the client(s) within 7 business days through the same payment channels as originally received.

Payment:

  1. Payments can be rendered through the following methods:

  3. Full payment is due at the signing and return of both the:

  5. Payment and documentation must be received at least business days prior to scheduled consultation.
